Epilepsy

Epileptology is a clinical subspecialty of neurology that focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of seizures, epilepsy and related diseases. These conditions may arise from a wide variety of genetically determined, developmental, or otherwise-acquired brain disorders such as tumors, strokes, traumatic injuries, infections, metabolic disorders, systemic inflammatory diseases and toxic states.
